Indie Flick Files - Looking ahead, a new film!

Hey there, folks! On behalf of the cast and crew of Indie Flick Files, I hope you've been enjoying our most recent Indie Flick, "Aaltra," hailing all the way from Belgium.

I know we're all giddy for Spring break, and the prospect of coming back to Syracuse after our respective vacations often seems a little depressing, because regardless of where you live, it is warmer than here, BUT we do have something that might make that depressed thought a bit more cheery -- a brand new film! "The Bothersome Man" comes to us all the way from Norway and the creative directorial mind of Jens Lien (that's a male name, by the way. And yes, I had to google image the name to figure that out). This film is a perfect way to propel us along our little Euro film trip we've been taking since Norway is just a short drive and a swim north of Belgium, the location of our most recent flick, "Aaltra."

The film chronicles an unfortunate man named Andreas who arrives in a city with absolutely no memory of how he got there. It is a city without children, without smell and without taste. It is a metropolis where no amount of sex can satisfy and no amount of booze can intoxicate. It is a grey, numb, monotone, monochrome existence. It is a film of a million allegories; a true field day for any film analyst.

We hope you can join us on this fantastic journey after break as we attempt to scratch the surface of this dense and compelling conceit.

Safe travels to you all over Spring break and catch you in a week or so!

- Andrew
